Even as Chris insists he is Santa's son, doing Christmas rounds for the first time and she needs to let him go to complete his rounds, Avery isn't buying it. As morning draws near and Avery learns that Chris actually IS who he claims to be… she gets to work in the nick of time to report on who is actually behind the string of robberies and Chris (Santa) heads off to finish his Christmas Eve duties. To All A Good Night: Ceci witnesses a motorcycle accident and saves the driver Sam’s life. After Sam recovers, he asks the town’s quirky residents for help in finding his rescuer, only remembering that she wore an elephant necklace. Ceci does not reveal her identity and has her friends keep her secret because she is uncertain of Sam’s motives. Eventually she discovers that Sam has known who she is all along because he knew Ceci’s dad, who helped him get his life together after his traumatic time serving in the Army. In fact, Sam was there when Ceci’s dad bought her elephant necklace. Ceci realizes that her dad sent Sam to look after her and pull her out of her grief. She decides to put on “Good Night” after all, with help from Sam and the town.
